You need to bring your passport or identity card, your credit card to leave a security deposit and your driving licence. To rent a scooter with DoYouSpain you must be in possession of a valid driving license which is valid under the laws of the related country.
Yes. You need to leave a deposit for your scooter and for GPS/WiFi devices if hired. You can leave the deposit on your credit card or in cash. However, the deposit amount will not be charged to your card unless there is any damage to the scooter or other negligence..
Yes. You can ride all our scooters with a passenger. If there are two of you, you will need an extra helmet, which has an additional cost.
No. It is absolutely prohibited to drive a scooter without a helmet on. Both, the driver and passenger must have their helmets on, even if it is a 50cc scooter.
You are fully covered by the insurance for damage to third parties. For damage caused to the scooter, or theft of the scooter, you’d be responsible up to the amount of the excess.. You also have the option of purchasing an excess reduction for your scooter insurance.
The insurance which is already included in the rental price covers third party damage. Additionally, roadside assistance is also included within a specific radius from the local office. Damage to the scooter and theft are subject to an excess of 500/750/1500€ depending on scooter type. All accessories (helmets, top case, GPS, gloves, lock etc.) are not covered by the insurance and would be paid for separately in case of loss or damage.
Yes, you must bring the scooter back with the same amount of fuel as it had on collection. If you don’t bring the scooter back with the same amount of fuel, you will be charged for the missing fuel.
Yes. but please take into account the following limits: you aren’t allowed to drive outside the city or on a highway with a 50cc scooter. With a 125cc+ scooter you’re allowed to drive within a limited area outside the city. Each local office has a specific area of coverage for scooter insurance and road assistance service – you are not allowed to drive a scooter out of this radius.
Yes. You can purchase extra insurance which reduces the excess amount in a case of damage and theft or robbery.

Yes, we do. When you’re booking online, please select as hotel or airport delivery as an ‘extra’.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours days before to the collection time, a full refund of the amount paid will be given (100%)
- No refunds will be made if the booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the collection time stated on the rental voucher.
If you wish to extend your rental, please let us know in advance. If the scooter is returned later than the time stated on the hire contract, you will be charged 50€ plus the daily rental price. Please note that it is illegal to drive with an expired rental contract. If you wish to extend your rental, please contact the local office. If the scooter is available for the extra days, you will be required to return to the local office to sign a new contract.
Unfortunately, not. No refunds can be offered once the rental has started or if the scooter is returned earlier than the time stated on the rental contract.
